Cheddar Cheese
There are few more delicious food and drink combinations than cheese and wine. But we often ask which cheese goes with which wine? Red wine is not the only wine to be drunk with cheese. White wine and even Champagne can bring the best flavours out of many cheeses.

Cadog Mild Cheddar
can be enjoyed with most white wines and light Reds, such as a crisp dry Muscadet, a sweeter flavoured Chenin Blanc Demi, or a light-bodied Beaujolais.

Cadog Medium Cheddar
tastes at it finest with medium-bodied red wines such as Red Burgundy, Merlot Pomerol and Cabernet Sauvignon.

Cadog Mature Cheddar
is best complemented with a sweet white wine such as Sauternes or a full-bodied red wine such as Chateauneuf du Pape.

Cadog Vintage Cheddar
should be savoured with a full white wine, such as Côtes de Duras Blanc, or a light red wine, such as Red Loire.
